I am married to my soul mate Michael and am the mother to four children. I homeschool, project manage our house, ensure nutritional balance for all 6 of us, and keep an extremely busy social calendar. I AM a soccer mom and love it. I combine my favorite jobs everyday- teaching and being a mom. I have homebirthed all the kids and love that they are part of my life all day long.
Ok, I am a proud mom gushing. Denali improved drastically this weekend in each game. She manned up and was playing a bit aggressively, wanting the ball. She ran hard and she scored a goal. We enjoyed the trip to the library in the small town of Fayetteville. It was quiet and cool and the kids were able to regroup from the heat. Perfect. Sunday was breezy and beautiful. We have a game in the stadium of the Atlanta Silverbacks this weekend. results will be posted Saturday night.
"Hope and Have," she often said to herself; and the words were a talisman to keep her in the path of duty. Continually she kept before her what she hoped to be, and continually she labored to attain the high and beautiful ideal of a true life. From Hope and Have, by Oliver Optic

OOOOHHHH!! What fun! My girls have already dog-eared their school books for next year -- they begged to start before I was ready for them .... sigh :)
Vow kim ! I am still in awe of what you do and how you do it. From the pictures it seems like a year full of learning is waiting.
Did I notice 'an inconvenient truth' in Bryn's stack ?
